I Need That

Lucas was crying about needing a toy that Jack had the other day. In fact the two of them had been going at it for quite a while, and it had been a whiney day. I had had enough so I called Lucas over and lectured him on the difference between need and want. It stuck.

This evening they were playing together, which is fantastic. But at one point Lucas had a car Jack suddenly needed. Jack whined about it and Lucas told him that he needs a house, food and water.

I was so proud.
